نظمت مؤسسة الموقت للعلوم والثقافة ندوة فكرية كبرى صباح يوم الخميس 8 فبراير 2024، في رحاب كلية الآداب والعلوم الإنسانية بمراكش، لاستعراض تراث الفقيه العلامة محمد ابن الموقت المراكشي. انطلقت الندوة بكلمة افتتاحية من عميد الكلية، الدكتور عبد الجليل الكريفة، تلتها كلمة رئيس مؤسسة الموقت للعلوم والثقافة، الأستاذ عبد المنتقم.
اشتملت الندوة على جلستين علميتين تناولت مؤلفات ابن الموقت في مجالات متنوعة، بإشراف الكاتب والاعلامي الأستاذ عبد الإله التهاني في الجلسة الأولى. قُدمت مداخلات متنوعة منها: تحليل لحياة ابن الموقت المراكشي للباحث أحمد متفكر، دراسة حول تقليد المغاربة للأوروبيين زمن الاستعمار الفرنسي، ورؤى في كتاب « الرحلة المراكشية » لمحمد إبن الموقت.
في الجلسة الثانية، قدم عميد الكلية الدكتور عبد الجليل الكريفة مداخلة حول شعر الملحون في نهاية القرن التاسع عشر وبداية القرن العشرين، باعتباره نموذجًا لشعر ابن الموقت. كما قدمت الدكتورة نجية الزهراوي مداخلة حول ابن الموقت المراكشي كمصلح اجتماعي، باستعراض كتابه « الرحلة المراكشية ».
تناولت المداخلات في الندوة أيضًا نقدًا اجتماعيًا لأفكار ابن الموقت ومساهمته في فهم الحقائق الاجتماعية، بما في ذلك الجوانب الجغرافية والتوقيت والفلك. اختتمت الندوة بمداخلة الاستاذ عبد الرحمان الخرشي حول أدب الرحلة عند محمد ابن الموقت المراكشي.
