اندلع صباح يومه الثلاثاء 03 غشت 2019، حريق مهول بجزء بأحد معامل الكيماويات بمدينة أسفي، وذلك على مستوى أنبوب غازي.
هذا، وأكدت مصادرنا على أن انفجارا سمع ذويه صباح اليوم الثلاثاء، وذلك قبل أن ينتشر دخان كثيف فوق سماء المعامل، مما أثار تخوف الكثير.
هذا، ولحدود الساعة لم يتم تحديد الأسباب الرئيسية التي كانت وراء اندلاع هذا الحريق الذي تمكنت فرقة الوقاية المدنية من تطويقه قبل أن ينتشر في بقية المعامل.
