سلجت السلطات الصحية على مستوى اٍقليم الحوز، منذ تفشي فيروس كورونا المستجد « كوفيد-19، » في مارس 2020، اصابة 1372 حالة مؤكدة.
وكانت الخلية الاقليمية المكلفة بمتابعة الحالة الوبائية بالحوز، قد عملت بشكل كبير على منع انتشار الفيروس في صفوف المواطنين من خلال اجراءات و توجيهات رسمية في الموضوع، بتنسيق مع السلطات الاقليمية والمحلية وجميع الشركاء والمتدخلين والمجتمع المدني.
