بعد مباراته الودية مع منتخب ساحل العاج، وصل منتخب المغرب إلى مدينة أكادير قادمًا من أبيدجان في ساحل العاج، استعدادًا لمواجهة ليبيريا في مباراة مؤجلة ضمن تصفيات كأس أمم أفريقيا المقبلة. يخطط الفريق الوطني لإجراء حصص تدريبية قبل هذه المباراة المقررة يوم الثلاثاء القادم على ملعب أكادير الكبير. ومن المقرر أن يعقد المدير الفني وليد الركراكي ندوة صحفية غدًا الاثنين للحديث عن بطولة كأس أمم أفريقيا المقرر إقامتها في كوت ديفوار في بداية العام المقبل. ستبدأ الندوة الصحفية في قاعة المؤتمرات بملعب أكادير الكبير في الساعة السادسة والنصف مساءً، وستتبعها حصة تدريبية مفتوحة أمام وسائل الإعلام لمدة ربع ساعة.
يذكر أن المنتخب المغربي واحدًا من المتأهلين لبطولة كأس الأمم الإفريقية بعد أن حصل على المركز الثاني في المجموعة 11 خلال التصفيات برصيد ست نقاط. حيث تمكن « أسود الأطلس » من الفوز على جنوب أفريقيا وليبيريا، وتلقوا هزيمة في مباراتهم في أرض « بافانا بافانا » قبل مواجهة ليبيريا في الثلاثاء المقبل. ويتواجد المنتخب المغربي في المجموعة السادسة في قرعة نهائيات كأس أمم أفريقيا القادمة إلى جانب زامبيا، تنزانيا، والكونغو الديمقراطية.
