اختيار المغرب لاحتضان كأس إفريقيا للمنتخبات الأولمبية..وملعب مراكش مرشح لاحتضان المباريات

 

 

أعلن الاتحاد الإفريقي لكرة القدم صباح اليوم الخميس عن اختيار المغرب لاستضافة نهائيات كأس أمم إفريقيا للمنتخبات أقل من 23 سنة، والمؤهلة للألعاب الأولمبية التي ستقام بالعاصمة الفرنسية باريس سنة 2024.

 

وجاء اختيار المملكة المغربية بالنظر لتقديمها لملف الترشح بدون أي منافس، وذلك خلال فترة تقديم الترشيحات التي أغلقت شهر يونيو الماضي، حيث تعتبر هذه المرة الثانية التي يستضيف فيها المغرب هذه المنافسة بعد النسخة المؤهلة لأولمبياد لندن 2012، إذ  كانت آخر مشاركة للمنتخب الأولمبي في هذا العرس الرياضي العالمي، بعدما تغيب عن نسختي 2016 في البرازيل و2020 في اليابان.

 

وأفاد مصدر مطلع أن ملعب مراكش الكبير، قد تم وضعه ضمن الملاعب المرشحة لاحتضان مباريات إحدى مجموعات كأس إفريقيا للأولمبيين، حيث سبق وأن احتضن مباريات المنتخب الوطني في التصفيات المؤهلة لأولمبياد ري ودي جانيرو 2016.
