أطلقت سلطات مدينة كراتشي بإقليم السند، جنوب باكستان، اسم « شارع مراكش » على الطريق الذي يربط كلية الحقوق بكراتشي بأحد جسور المدينة.
وذكرت سفارة المغرب بإسلام أباد في بيان أن هذه المبادرة تأتي تقديرا لعلاقات الأخوة والتعاون طويلة الأمد التي تجمع المملكة المغربية وجمهورية باكستان الإسلامية.
وأشادت التمثيلية الدبلوماسية في هذا الصدد بالعلاقات الأخوية التي تجمع البلدين الشقيقين، معربة عن ترحيبها بهذه المبادرة التي اتخذتها السلطات الإقليمية بالسند بإطلاق اسم مدينة مراكش على شارع جد حيوي يقع في مركز كراتشي.
