أعلن عزيز أخنوش رئيس الحكومة المعين من طرف جلال الملك قبل قليل من صباح اليوم الأربعاءّ، خلال الندوة الصحفية التي تعقد في هذه الاثناء، عن تشكيل أغلبية حكومية تتكون من الأحزاب الثلاثة التي تصدرت الاستحقاقات الانتخابية الأخيرة، ويتعلق الأمر بحزب التجمع الوطني للأحرار، وحزب الأصالة والمعاصرة، وحزب الاستقلال.
وعرفت قاعة الندوات بمقر حزب الحمامة بالعاصمة الرباط تواجد كل من عبد اللطيف وهبي الأمين العام لحزب البام، ونزار البركة الأمين العام لحزب الاستقلال، إضافة إلى بعض قيادي الأحزاب التي ستشكل الحكومة الجديدة.
واكد عزيز اخنوش في كلمته أن التمكن من تشكيل أغلبية حكومية جاء بعد عدة تشاورات مع غالبية الأحزاب السياسية، باستثناء حزبين رفضا اجراء المشاورات، معربا عن ارتياحه لتشكيل حكومة منسجمة ومتماسكة في وقت وجيز، حيث جاء هذا الاختيار بناء على احترام إرادة الناخبين، الذين منحوا أصواتهم بكثافة للأحزاب الثلاثة التي تصدرت استحقاقات الثامن من شتنبر، والتي ستشكل الحكومة الجديدة.
