أسفرت حملة أمنية ناجحة في منطقة حي المحاميد، قادتها عناصر الأمن الوطني، واستهدفت مروجي المخدرات، عن إيقاف 3 أفراد يشتبه فيهم بترويج المخدرات.
وباشرت المصالح الأمنية تحقيقاتها مع الموقوفين قصد الوقوف الى مروجين محتملين للوصول اليهم، ومنع انتشار المخدرات ومكافحة الجريمة.
وأسفرت عملية البحث والتفتيش، عن حجز كمية من مخدر « الشيرا » لدى الموقوفين، ومبالغ مالية يفترض أنها محتصلة من ترويج المخدرات.
والى ذلك، تم اقتياد الموقوفين الى مقر الشرطة من أجل التحقيق معهم، ووضعهم رهن تدابير الحراسة النظرية، لحين احالتهم على القضاء.
