دعا رؤساء دول سابقون من إفريقيا وأمريكا اللاتينية، أمس الخميس بمراكش، إلى تعزيز التعاون الأطلسي جنوب-جنوب، بما يخدم مصالح شعوب إفريقيا وأمريكا اللاتينية والكاريبي، مؤكدين أن بلدانا مثل المغرب والبرازيل، بإمكانها قيادة مسار الترويج لهذه المبادرة.
وأبرز الرئيسان السابقان لنيجيريا والإكوادور خلال جلسة نقاش بعنوان “اتفاق أطلسي جديد: وجهات نظر من الجنوب” نظمت في إطار الدورة الـ12 للمؤتمر الدولي السنوي “الحوارات الأطلسية”، أنه في مواجهة التحديات العالمية، يمكن للتعاون الأطلسي جنوب-جنوب أن يعزز التأثير الجماعي لدول جنوب الأطلسي، من خلال تحالفات استراتيجية لمواجهة الراهانات العالمية، وخاصة التغيرات المناخية والفوارق الاقتصادية.
وقال الرئيس النيجيري الأسبق، أولوسيغون أوباسانجو إنه “يتعين على جنوب أطلسي من شأنه أن يخدم مصالح شعوبه وشعوب العالم أجمع، أن يعزيز التعاون والتضامن بين بلدانه”، مضيفا أن جنوب الأطلسي “مدعو للتطور بسرعة من أجل تدارك التأخر”.
وفي هذا الإطار، دعا السيد أوباسانجو، الممثل السامي لمفوضية الاتحاد الإفريقي بمنطقة القرن الإفريقي، إلى إحداث منظمة تعاون أطلسية، يتم إطلاقها من إفريقيا وأمريكا اللاتينية والكاريبي، لافتا إلى أن هذه المنظمة “ستضطلع بمهام تعزيز السلام والأمن والتنمية”.
وقال “أعتقد أن المغرب بإفريقيا والبرازيل بأمريكا اللاتينية يمكنهما أن يقودا مسار الترويج لهذه المبادرة”، مشيرا إلى أن هذه المنظمة قادرة على أن تصبح صوتا مسموعا على الساحة العالمية.
ومن جانبه، أشار الرئيس الأسبق للإكوادور، لويس أوسفالدو هورتادو لاريا، إلى أن منطقة جنوب الأطلسي مدعوة إلى تعزيز التعاون في ما بينها من أجل التأثير في الدينامية الجيوسياسية الدولية، وذلك للتصدي لاختلالات مسلسل صنع القرار على الصعيد العالمي.
وفي معرض حديثه عن الإطار العابر للقارات القادر على إبراز وتحقيق تقدم فعال في مستقبل ومصالح الجنوب، أكد الرئيس الأسبق على أهمية الشراكة الاقتصادية، لا سيما من خلال التوقيع على اتفاقيات التجارة الحرة التي عززت التعاون داخل المنطقة ووفرت عوامل رئيسية للتقدم.
ومن جهة أخرى، أبرز هورتادو لاريا، أن دول جنوب الأطلسي تواجه فرصا جديدة، تشكل مناسبة لتأكيد مواقفها الجديد نحو توازن أكثر شمولاً.
وتعرف الدورة الـ12 للمؤتمر الدولي “الحوارات الأطلسية”، التي انطلقت أمس، والمنظمة تحت الرعاية السامية للملك محمد السادس، تحت شعار “نحو أطلسي أكثر حزما وتأثيرا” حضور أكثر من 400 ضيف يمثلون 80 جنسية من الحوض الأطلسي.
