حلت بعثة المنتخب المغربي الرديف، مساء يومه الجمعة 26 نونبر 2021، بمطار حمد الدولي بالعاصمة القطرية الدوحة، حيث ستخوض النخبة الوطنية منافسات كأس العرب قطر فيفا 2021.
وكانت قرعة كأس العرب قطر فيفا 2021 قد وضعت المنتخب الوطني في المجموعة الثالث إلى جانب منتخبات فلسطين والأردن والسعودية،
وسيستهل أبناء المدرب عموتة مشوار البطولة يوم الأربعاء فاتح دجنبر بمواجهة المنتخب الفلسطيني، على أن يلعبوا مباراة الجولة الثانية أمام المنتخب الأردني يوم السبت 04 دجنبر، ثم المباراة الثالثة أمام المنتخب السعودي يوم الثلاثاء 07 دجنبر.
