وتجدر الإشارة أن فارس النخيل خرج من دور سدس عشر نهاية كأس العرش، على يد الإتحاد البيضاوي بعدما انهزم بنتيجة ثلاثة أهداف لواحد في اللقاء الذي جرى بملعب الصخور السوداء بالدار البيضاء.
