وفور علمها بالخبر، انتلقت عناصر الدرك الملكي الى عين المكان لفتح تحقيق حول ظروف وملابسات وقوع الحادثة، التي رجحت مصادرنا بانها وقعت بسبب السرعة المفرطة والتجاوز المعيب.
