باغتت الموت، زوال يومه الثلاثاء، رجل مسن في عقده التاسع، بعدما كان يؤدي ركعتي تحية المسجد، قبل أداء صلاة الظهر، وذلك بمسجد “الشرفا”، الكائن بمنطقة سيدي واصل، في مدينة آسفي.
وحسب مصدر مطلع، فالراحل الملقب بحمامة المسجد، نظرا لمواظبته على صلاة الجماعة، باغتته الموت، وهو ساجد، حيث يرجح أن يكون قد توفى بسبب سكتة قلبية، إذ حلت عناصر الشرطة بعين المكان، وتم نقل جتثه إلى مستودع الأموات
