استقبل وزير الثقافة والاتصال، محمد الاعرج، يوم الاثنين 11 فبراير 2019، بمقر قطاع الثقافة، مديرة مكتب منظمة الأمم المتحدة للتربية والعلم والثقافة -اليونسكو- بالرباط، غولدا الحوري، وذلك لمناقشة سبل توطيد الشراكة الثنائية بين وزارة الثقافة والاتصال – قطاع الاتصال – والمنظمة.
واستعرض الاعرج خلال هذا اللقاء، أهم المكتسبات التي حققتها بلادنا في مجالي الصحافة والإعلام، والمتمثلة أساسا في إخراج المجلس الوطني للصحافة إلى حيز الوجود، باعتباره هيئة للتنظيم الذاتي للمهنة، تروم تحقيق مزيد من الحرية والاستقلالية في المجال.
وتطرق الطرفان إلى المحور المتعلق بالتربية الإعلامية والمعلوماتية، باعتبارها شرطا أساسياً لصيانة المكتسبات المرتبطة بحرية التعبير التي تنبني على قيم الاستقلالية والمهنية، واتفقا، في هذا الصدد، على تنظيم أنشطة مختلفة تندرج في إطار مشاريع تتعلق بالوقاية من التطرف، وتكريس قيم التعايش والتسامح.
كما اتفق الطرفان على تنظيم سلسلة ورشات تكوينية حول "حرية الصحافة" لفائدة الفاعلين في قطاع الإعلام، بهدف خلق أرضية للتفكير والمناقشة حول سبل تعزيز وضمان حرية ممارسة مهنة الصحافة، وذلك اعتمادا على الإطار التشريعي المغربي الخاص بوسائل الإعلام، وخطة عمل الأمم المتحدة لحماية الصحفيين، والمعايير الدولية لحرية التعبير وحرية الصحافة.
وخلص الطرفان إلى ضرورة إبرام اتفاقيات إطار حول مجمل النقاط التي تم تدارسها خلال اللقاء.
