لقي 9 أشخاص مصرعهم، وأصيب 1989 آخرون بجروح، إصابات 72 منهم بليغة، في 1544 حادثة سير داخل المناطق الحضرية، خلال الأسبوع الممتد من 28 مارس إلى 3 أبريل 2022.
وعزا بلاغ للمديرية العامة للأمن الوطني الأسباب الرئيسية المؤدية إلى وقوع هذه الحوادث، حسب ترتيبها، إلى عدم انتباه السائقين، وعدم احترام حق الأسبقية، والسرعة المفرطة، وعدم انتباه الراجلين، وعدم ترك مسافة الأمان، وعدم التحكم، وتغيير الاتجاه بدون إشارة، وتغيير الاتجاه غير المسموح به، والسير في يسار الطريق، وعدم احترام الوقوف المفروض بعلامة قف، وعدم احترام الوقوف المفروض بضوء التشوير الأحمر، والسير في الاتجاه الممنوع، والتجاوز المعيب.
