منتخب الصومال يطلب استقبال مبارياته في تصفيات مونديال 2026 على ملعب مراكش
تقدم الاتحاد الصومالي لكرة القدم بطلب إلى الاتحاد الافريقي لكرة القدم (كاف) من أجل استضافة مباريات المنتخب الأول في المجموعة السابعة من التصفيات الافريقية المؤهلة لنهائيات كأس العالم 2026 في الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وكندا والمكسيك، على أرضية الملعب الكبير لمراكش، نظرا لأن الصومال لا تملك ملاعب معتمدة من الاتحاد الأفريقي لكرة القدم.
ويتواجد منتخب الصومال في المجموعة السابعة من التصفيات الافريقية المؤهلة لمونديال 2026، إلى جانب منتخبات الجزائر وغينيا وأوغندا وموزمبيق وبوتسوانا.
وانضاف منتخب الصومال بذلك إلى منتخبات ست دول إفريقية أخرى طلبت بدورها من الهيئة الإفريقية لكرة القدم استقبال خصومها في ملاعب المملكة المغربية، وهي بوركينا فاسو وسيراليون وليبيريا وغامبيا والسودان وإسواتيني، ومن المتوقع أن يتم التأشير لها جميعها قبل نافذة « الفيفا » المقبلة، والتي تمتد من 13 إلى 21 نونبر 2023.
وللتذكير، فإن التصفيات الافريقية المؤهلة لكأس العالم 2026 ستبدأ في نونبر المقبل وتستمر حتى أكتوبر 2025، بحيث تم تقسيم المنتخبات على تسع مجموعات ستشهد تأهل صاحب المركز الأول في كل منها، في حين ستلعب أفضل أربعة منتخبات حصلت على المركز الثاني في بطولة مصغرة يتأهل منتخب واحد منها إلى مباراة السد.
