ملعب مراكش مرشح لاستضافة مباراة سيراليون ومصر في تصفيات كأس العالم
تقدم اتحاد كرة القدم في سيراليون بطلب إلى الجامعة الملكية المغربية من أجل استقبال مباراة المنتخب السيراليوني الأول، برسم الجولة الثانية من التصفيات الافريقية المؤهلة لكأس العالم 2026، ضد المنتخب المصري، على أرضية الملعب الكبير لمدينة مراكش.
ويأتي هذا الطلب بالنظر لعدم توفر دولة سيراليون على ملعب يستجيب للشروط التي يفرضها الاتحاد الافريقي لكرة القدم من أجل خوض المباريات الرسمية للمنتخبات.
ويذكر أن ملعب مراكش الكبير أضحى وجهة مفضلة للعديد من المنتخبات الافريقية التي لا تتوفر على ملاعب في دولها، ومن المنتظر أن يحتضن مجموعة من المباريات الرسمية الأخرى في التصفيات الافريقية المؤهلة لكأس العالم 2026، خلال التوقف الدولي المقبل لشهر نونبر القادم.
