أُعلن -اليوم الاثنين- عن وفاة المؤسس والرئيس السابق للاتحاد العالمي لعلماء المسلمين الشيخ يوسف القرضاوي عن 96 عاما.
وكان الراحل من أبرز علماء الشريعة في العالم الإسلامي، وهو عالم مصري أزهري، ويحمل الجنسية القطرية.
والعلامة القرضاوي من مواليد قرية صفت بمركز المحلة الكبرى في محافظة الغربية في جمهورية مصر العربية.
وفي عام 2008، جاء القرضاوي في المرتبة الثالثة من بين 20 شخصية على قائمة أكثر المفكرين تأثيرا على مستوى العالم، وذلك في استطلاع أجرته مجلتا « فورين بوليسي » و »بروسبكت ».
وقالت « فورين بوليسي » عند نشر الاستطلاع إن الشيخ القرضاوي « من خلال برنامج الشريعة والحياة الذي تبثه قناة الجزيرة الفضائية، يصدر فتاوى أسبوعية تتطرق لكافة مناحي الحياة ».
وللقرضاوي ما يزيد على 170 من المؤلفات، كما شارك في الكثير من المؤتمرات والندوات والبرامج التلفزيونية خلال مسيرته العلمية والدعوية.
