لم تعد الجماعات الترابية بإقليم الحوز، قادرة على تحمل ميزانيات التخلص من النفايات الصلبة بنقلها إلى المطرح الجهوي بمراكش.
وقد عزت مصادر مسؤولة، أسباب عدم قدرة تحمل المؤسسات المنتخبة لهذا الموضوع، والذي يهدد بعض الجماعات بالإفلاس، إلى ضعف الموارد، وارتفاع مهول في ميزانية التخلص من النفايات وما يرافق ذلك أيضا من مصاريف جانبية تتمثل في استهلاك كبير للوقود.
