عالم مناعة يحذر من التطور الخطير في فيروس إنفلونزا الطيور
وفقا لعالم المناعة الروسي نيقولاي كريوتشكوف، إنفلونزا الطيور هي المرشح الرئيسي لوباء جديد شديد الخطورة، بسبب تطور خطير للفيروس، يمنحه القدرة على الانتقال من شخص لآخر.
ويقول العالم في حديث لـ Lenta.ru: “إن عدوى إنفلونزا الطيور عمليا لا تنتقل عادة من شخص لآخر. ولكن هذا نمط مصلي جديد للفيروس. أي سيحدث انهيار في الحاجز بين الأنواع، لذلك فإن انتقال العدوى من شخص لآخر بسهولة أصبحت الآن مسألة وقت فقط”.
ووفقا له، ازداد في السنوات الأخيرة اختراق الحاجز بين الأنواع. وكقاعدة عامة، يتم تسجيل مثل هذه الحالات في مزارع تربية الدواجن، ولكن ليس فقط. لأنه يلاحظ حاليا تزايد مستمر في أعداد المصابين، ما يدل على تطور عدوى الإنفلونزا.
ويقول: “المشكلة هي أن السكان ليسوا مستعدين لأنماط مصلية جديدة. ولا توجد مناعة مسبقة. وكقاعدة عامة، تعتبر الأنماط المصلية الجديدة قاتلة ومسببة للأمراض مقارنة بتلك المألوفة لنا بالفعل. لذلك عندما يبدأ الانتشار النشط للعدوى، ستكون عواقبه أكثر خطورة من الإنفلونزا المعتادة”.
ويعتقد كريوتشكوف أن إنفلونزا الطيور هي المرشح الرئيسي للعدوى التي يمكن أن تسبب وباء عالميا جديدا. لإن اختراق الحاجز بين الأنواع أمر لا مفر منه ويمكن أن يحدث قريبا.
وكان قد أعلن سابقا عن تفشي سلالة جديدة شديدة العدوى من إنفلونزا الطيور H5N1 في مزرعة دواجن في بلجيكا. وللوقاية من الوباء اضطر المختصون إلى ذبح 20.1 ألف دجاجة.
