يستقبل ملعب مراكش الكبير بمراكش مساء اليوم الجمعة، المباراة الأولى من التصفيات الافريقية المؤهلة لكأس العالم 2026، والتي ستجمع بين منتخب بوركينافاصو وضيفه المنتخب غينيا بيساو، وذلك انطلاقا من الساعة الثامنة مساء.
كما سيستقبل ذات الملعب يوم غد السبت اللقاء الثاني ضمن سلسلة المباريات الافريقية التي ستجرى على أرضيته، حيث سيستقبل منتخب النيجر ضيفه منتخب تانزانيا انطلاقا من الساعة الثامنة مساء.
وسيحتضن الملعب الكبير يوم الثلاثاء القادم اللقاء الأخير، والذي سيجمع بين منتخب النيجر ومنتخب زامبيا انطلاقا من الساعة الخامسة عصرا.
وباتت المدينة الحمراء الوجهة المفضلة لمجموعة من المنتخبات الافريقية من جنوب الصحراء، من أجل استقبال ضيوفها، بعد منعها من الإستقبال داخل قواعدها لعدم توفرها على ملاعب تتضمن الشروط الموضوعة من طرف الاتحاد الافريقي لاحتضان المباريات الدولية.
وجاء اختيار مدينة مراكش بالنظر إلى توفرها على بنية تحتية جيدة على مستوى الفنادق، وكذا المنشئات الرياضية، سواء تعلق الأمر بالملعب الكبير الذي يتميز بعشبه الطبيعي من الدرجة الممتازة، إضافة إلى ملاعب التداريب المتعددة والتي تستوعب خمسة منتخبات في نفس التوقيت، دون نسيان باقي المرافق، والتي يشرف عليها أحد الأطر ذات الكفاءة العالية بشركة سونارجيس، ويتعلق الأمر بمولاي رشيد النايفي بمعية طاقم مرافق له.
كما أكدت مصادر متعددة من داخل المنتخبات الافريقية المتواجدة بمراكش، أن الجانب الأمني هو الآخر دفعها إلى اختيار مدينة النخيل، حيث تشرف على تأمين البعثات الخلية الأمنية الرياضية التي يترأسها “عبد الكبير البابا” بمعية العناصر التي تصاحبه، ويتعلق الأمر بعبد الصادق والناظر وزكرياء، والذين يسهرون طيلة فترة تواجد المنتخبات المذكورة على تأمين تنقلاتها يوميا إلى الملعب الكبير، إضافة إلى التواجد المستمر بالفنادق التي اختارتها للدخول في تجمعات مغلقة.
