قال وحيد خاليلوزيتش، خلال المؤتمر الصحفي الذي يسبق المباراة أن عناصر المنتخب الوطني مستعدة لمواجهة الكونغو الديموقراطية في إياب الدور الحاسم المؤهل لنهائيات كأس العالم قطر 2022 مردفا “أنا متفائل بخصوص مباراة الغد أمام الكونغو، لكننا لم نحقق التأهل بعد”.
وأضاف “أعلم قيمة الضغوط التي تشعر بها الجماهير واللاعبين، وأنا بدوري أحس بضغط كبير ولا أستطيع إخفاء ذلك لكن النتيجة المحققة في مباراة الذهاب منحتنا جرعة ثقة وسنعمل على إسعاد الجماهير” موضحا كان بإمكاننا تحقيق نتيجة أفضل في لقاء كينشاسا، لكن الأهم أن نحقق التأهل يوم الغد في ملعبنا وأمام جماهيرنا.
