قال وزير الشباب والثقافة والتواصل محمد المهدي بنسعيد خلال إجابته الاثنين 17 يناير بالجلسة العمومية للأسئلة الشفوية بالبرلمان أن « الصحافة خدمة عمومية، ودورها يبقى هاما داخل المجتمع، وما عاشته خلال الجائحة جعل الحكومة تفكر في تصور جديد لدعم الصحافة ».
وفصل قائلا « هذا التصور، نعتبره « استثمارا» عوض الدعم، وهو ما نشتغل عليه حاليا بمقاربة تشاركية مع الفاعلين والهيئات المهنية سواء عبر مختلف اللقاءات التي عقدت منذ أول أيامنا على رأس القطاع، أو خلال اللقاء التشاوري المنعقد خلال هذا الشهر بحضور السيد الوزير المنتدب لدى وزيرة الاقتصاد والمالية، المكلف بالميزانية، وهو اللقاء الذي خرج بتصورات وأفكار جديدة نشتغل عليها حاليا لإخراج مشروع جديد برؤية استثمارية تعزز حضور الصحافة الوطنية والجهوية داخل المجتمع المغربي ».
وأكد في جوابه على سؤال فريق التجمع الوطني الأحرار بمجلس النواب حول دعم الحكومة للإعلام الوطني والجنوب أن « الهدف اليوم، هو تقوية دور الصحافة، وجعل هذه المهنة في مكانة عالية، مع التفكير في نموذج جديد للمقاولة الإعلامية، بداية من نظام جبائي خاص بالمقاولة الإعلامية إلى صحافة مغربية تواكب الانتقال الرقمي والتحولات التكنولوجية خصوصا الصحافة المكتوبة، وبلادنا اليوم تعيش على وقع مبادرات مبتكرة في المجال الرقمي ومن الضروري أن تكون الصحافة جزء من هذه المبادرات ».
واعتبر الوزير أن التصور الذي يحمله اليوم للصحافة والمقاولة الصحفية « لا ينبني على حلول ظرفية وإنما التفكير في تصور شامل لا يقتصر على المقاولات فقط وإنما يمتد إلى الصحافيات والصحافيين وتحسين أوضاعهم المادية والاجتماعية وهو ما سنشتغل عليه وفق نفس المقاربة وإشراك جميع الفاعلين في القطاع ».
