صرح الناطق الرسمي باسم الحكومة مصطفى بايتاس أن الحكومة تدارست في اجتماعها اليوم موضوع فتح الحدود، وأن « النقاش شيظل مفتوحا في اليومين المقبلين لنتخذ القرار المناسب ».
وأضاف بيتاس في الندوة الصحفية التي أعقبت المجلس الحكومي صباح اليوم أن الحكومة وهي تناقش موضوع فتح الحدود تستحضر جميع المعطيات الخاصة بالوضعية الوبائية والتداعيات الاقتصادية والاجتماعية والنفسية قرار الإغلاق، وأردف قائلا « يناقش الموضوع بشكل جدي وبوجهات نظر مختلفة ومتعددة ».
ويذكر أن الحكومة المغربية قررت إغلاق الحدود وتعليق الرحلات الجوية من وإلى المغرب في أواخر نونبر الماضي، وقد خلفف القرار تداعيات اقتصادية واجتماعية صعبة على العديد من الفئات خاصة المرتبطة بالنشاط السياحي، وقد شهدت مدينة مراكش يوم أمس الأربعاء 26 يناير خروج المئات من العاملين في القطاع السياحي والمرتبطين بنشاطه في مسيرة احتجاجية حاشدة للمطالبة بفتح الحدود.
