تمكن المنتخب الوطني المغربي لكرة اليد من ضمان تأهله لدور ربع نهائي بطولة إفريقيا للعبة المؤهلة لأولمبياد باريس 2024 والمقامة حاليا بالقاهرة، بعد أن أنهى دور المجموعات بفوزين اثنين وهزيمة واحدة.
واستهل المنتخب المغربي الذي يقوده المدرب عبد السلام مصباح مشواره في هذه البطولة بالفوز على نظيره الليبي بنتيجة 30 مقابل 25، قبل أن يفوز في المواجهة الثانية على نظيره الغابوني بحصة 33 مقابل 25، بينما تعثر في ثالث مواجهة أمام الجزائر بحصة 30 مقابل 23.
وسيلعب المنتخب المغربي في دور الربع ضد منتخب الرأس الأخضر، يوم غد الثلاثاء، وفي حال التأهل إلى المربع الذهبي سيلاقي الفائز من مباراة الزائر والكونغو الديموقراطية.
