فشلت البطلة المغربية في رياضة التزلج على اللوح « السكيت بورد »، آية اسقاس البالغة من العمر 23 سنة، في بلوغ المرحلة النهائية ضمن أولمبياد باريس 2024، بعدا احتلالها المركز الأخير في التصفيات.
واحتلت آية اسقاس المركز 22 في التصفيات بعد حصولها على أضعف تنقيط بين جميع المتسابقات، عقب ثلاث محاولات غير موفقة، بمجموع 13.68 نقطة، في حين أن أقرب منافستها، وهي الفرنسية نانا تابوليت التي احتلت المركز 21 قد حصلت على تنقيط 42.33 نقطة.
ويشار أن البطلة المغربية آية اسقاس كانت المشاركة الوحيدة من القارة الإفريقية والدول العربية في هذا الصنف الرياضي بدروة الألعاب الأولمبية الصيفية في باريس.
