اختيار مراكش عاصمة للثقافة الإسلامية

أعلن الدكتور سالم المالك، المدير العام للإيسيسكو، أنه قد تم اختيار مدينة مراكش عاصمة للثقافة في العالم الإسلامي لعام 2024، وذلك خلال كلمته بمناسبة اختتام تظاهرة “الرباط عاصمة الثقافة في العالم الإسلامي 2022″، التي نظمت طيلة سنة كاملة ضمن برنامج منظمة (إيسيسكو) لعواصم الثقافة في العالم الإسلامي، وذلك تحت الرعاية السامية لصاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس.
وحول اختيار مراكش عاصمة للثقافة الإسلامية، قال وزير الثقافة بنسعيد أنها “فرصة لإبراز ما تزخر به عاصمة النخيل من معالم ثقافية وحضارة تاريخية”.
ويعد برنامج الاحتفاء بعواصم الثقافة الإسلامية من البرامج الكبرى للإيسيسكو، والذي تسعى من خلاله إلى التعريف بالمخزون الثقافي الإسلامي لعدد من عواصم الدول الأعضاء، وإبراز تنوع وغنى وجمالية مكونات تراثه المادي وغير المادي، وإسهامات علمائه وفنانيه ومبدعيه في مختلف مجالات المعرفة والبناء الحضاري للأمة وللإنسانية جمعاء.
ويهدف هذا البرنامج التعريف بالحواضر الإسلامية ذات العراقة التاريخية والتميز الثقافي، وتسليط الضوء على تراثها الفكري والثقافي والإبداعي، وإبراز التنوع الثقافي للشعوب الإسلامية. كما تهدف الايسيسكو من وراء هذا البرنامج إلى تنشيط الحركة الثقافية في العواصم المحتفى بها، وتفعيل الدور المحوري للعمل الثقافي في تدبير الشأن العام لهذه المدن.
