الاهتمام بالفنون وطول العمر.. دراسة تكشف العلاقة بينهما
كشفت دراسة بريطانية حديثة عن وجود علاقة، قد تبدو "غريبة" للكثيرين، بين الاهتمام بالفنون وطول العمر، وذلك بعد تحليل بيانات عدد كبير من الجوانب الصحية والاجتماعية في حياة عدد من كبار السن.
وأشارت الدراسة إلى أن كبار السن الذين يترددون على المعارض الفنية والمتاحف ويحضرون العروض المسرحية والحفلات الموسيقية، قد يعيشون أطول من أولئك الذين لا يفعلون هذه الأشياء.
ووجد باحثون من كلية لندن الجامعية، أن الأشخاص الذين تزيد أعمارهم عن 50 عاما، ويقبلون على متابعة الأنشطة الفنية، كانوا أقل عرضة للوفاة بنسبة 31 في المئة خلال متابعة استمرت 14 عاما، مقارنة بأقرانهم الذين لا يعطون أهمية كبيرة للفنون.
وقد أخذت الدراسة بعين الاعتبار مجموعة واسعة من العوامل الصحية والاجتماعية الأخرى المصاحبة لمن تتبعتهم الدراسة.
ونقلت "رويترز" عن ديزي فانكورت، أستاذ مساعد علم النفس وعلم الأوبئة في كلية لندن الجامعية، قولها: "إن هذه النتائج تدعم التحليلات الإحصائية السابقة والأبحاث الإنسانية التي تشير إلى احتمال وجود فوائد للفنون مع التقدم في العمر".
وكتب الباحثون في الدورية الطبية البريطانية، أن نتائج الدراسة تتسق مع الأبحاث السابقة التي أشارت إلى أن الفنون قد تساعد في طول العمر، من خلال تحسين الصحة العقلية وتعزيز العلاقات الاجتماعية والنشاط البدني وتقليل الشعور بالوحدة.
