أكد صاحب الجلالة الملك محمد السادس عزمه على جعل المغرب فاعلا أساسيا في بناء إفريقيا المستقبل، مبرزا أن المملكة أصبحت تحتل حاليا مكانة متميزة على المستويات الاقتصادية والسياسية والثقافية والدينية داخل القارة.
وقال جلالة الملك، في الخطاب السامي الذي وجهه، مساء اليوم الأربعاء، إلى الأمة بمناسبة الذكرى الرابعة والأربعين للمسيرة الخضراء، "وقد جعلنا قارتنا، منذ اعتلائنا العرش، في صلب سياستنا الخارجية. فقمنا بالعديد من الزيارات لمختلف دولها، وتم التوقيع على حوالي ألف اتفاقية تشمل كل مجالات التعاون".
وأبرز جلالة الملك أنه "كان لذلك أثر ملموس على مستوى مكانة المغرب الاقتصادية والسياسية والثقافية والدينية داخل القارة"، مؤكدا بالقول "إننا عازمون على جعل المغرب فاعلا أساسيا في بناء إفريقيا المستقبل".
وبعد أن أكد جلالة الملك أن الصحراء المغربية تشكل بوابة المغرب نحو إفريقيا جنوب الصحراء، شدد جلالته على طموح المملكة للرفع من مستوى المبادلات التجارية، ومن الاستثمارات المغربية في القارة.
وأبرز جلالة الملك أن الأمر يتعلق ب"إطلاق مرحلة جديدة عمادها المنفعة المشتركة"، موضحا جلالته أن تحقيق هذه الأهداف يتوقف على وفاء المغرب بالتزاماته، وعلى مواصلة ترسيخ حضوره في إفريقيا.
كما شدد جلالة الملك على "أننا مسؤولون على مواصلة تعزيز العلاقات الإنسانية والاقتصادية والسياسية التي تجمع المغرب بالدول الإفريقية".
