وحسب شاهد عيان، فالحادث ناتج عن اصطدام السيارة بالدراجة النارية في الملتقى الطرقي الكائن أمام صيدلية أريحا، والذي يعرف العديد من حوادث السير الخطيرة، حيث فارق سائق الدراجة النارية الحياة على الفور بعد سقوطه بطريقة مروعة من دراجته.
