وزارة الصحة تسجل 18 حالة وفاة سنويا بسبب داء “السعار” بالمغرب
سجل عدد حالات الوفيات الناجمة عن داء الكلب (السعار) في المغرب، انخفاضا من 34 حالة وفاة سنة 1985 إلى 18 حالة وفاة سنة 2018، وذلك في إطار البرنامج الوطني الذي انطلق سنة 1986.
وأفادت وزارة الصحة، في بلاغ اليوم الخميس، أنه يتم، في إطار المجهودات المبذولة لمحاربة هذا الداء، تلقيح حوالي 65.000 شخص سنويا بعد تعرضهم للعض أو الخدش من طرف الحيوانات لاسيما الكلاب الضالة.
وتنتهز وزارة الصحة مناسبة تخليد اليوم العالمي لداء الكلب (28 شتنبر)، لتنصح المواطنات والمواطنين بتلقيح الحيوانات المملوكة (الكلاب والقطط) ضد هذا الداء، وتجنب ملامسة الحيوانات المجهولة المصدر خاصة الكلاب والقطط، فضلا عن توجيه النصح للأطفال بعدم اللعب مع الحيوانات غير المعروفة، حتى ولو كانت لطيفة، مع تشجيعهم على الإبلاغ عن أي عض أو خدش ولو كان بسيطا.
وتحتفل المنظومة الدولية باليوم العالمي لداء الكلب هذه السنة تحت شعار “داء السعار: لقح من أجل القضاء عليه”، وذلك بهدف تأكيد قيمة التلقيح السنوي للكلاب المملوكة باعتباره حجر الزاوية في جميع الجهود المبذولة لمكافحة داء السعار، وهي مناسبة أيضا لتسليط الأضواء على الآثار الناجمة عن هذا المرض عند الإنسان والحيوان، وكيفية الوقاية منه والحد من انتشاره بمكافحته في مستودعاته الحيوانية.
وللحد من هذا المرض الفتاك، يشير المصدر، يبقى التقليل من عدد الكلاب الضالة التي تلعب دورا أساسيا في نقل هذا الداء، وتلقيح الإنسان بعد تعرضه للحيوانات المشتبه إصابتها بهذا الداء إضافة إلى تلقيح الكلاب المملوكة، من أهم ركائز البرنامج الوطني لمحاربة داء السعار، الذي تنهجه وزارة الصحة بشراكة مع وزارة الداخلية ووزارة الفلاحة والصيد البحري والتنمية القروية والمياه والغابات.
كما شددت على ضرورة غسل مكان الإصابة جيدا بالماء والصابون في حالة التعرض لخدش أو عضة حيوان، والتوجه لأقرب مركز لمحاربة داء السعار لتلقي العلاج الموضعي المناسب والاستفادة من التلقيح المضاد للمرض بالإضافة إلى المصل حسب خطورة الإصابة، وعدم قتل الحيوان المعتدي وإبلاغ المصالح البيطرية به.
ويعد داء السعار أو ما يعرف عند عامة الناس بالمغرب “بالجهل” مرضا فيروسيا خطيرا، يصيب معظم الحيوانات ذات الدم الحار، حيث يمكن أن ينتقل المرض إلى الإنسان، غالبا عن طريق العض أو الخدش. وتتسب ب الكلاب في وقوع 95 بالمائة من هذه الحالات، علما أن هناك لقاحات مأمونة وناجعة يتعين على الأشخاص الذين تعرضوا لحيوانات يشتبه إصابتها بهذا الداء، الاستفادة منها على وجه السرعة.
يذكر أن الإحصائيات الدولية الأخيرة تشير إلى أن داء السعار يودي بحياة نحو 60.000 شخص كل عام، أي ما يناهز حالة وفاة واحدة في كل 10 دقائق.
