تمكنت الفرقة الوطنية للجمارك، الخميس 19 شتنبر، بتنسيق مع المصالح المختصة بالإدارة المركزية وتحت إشراف النيابة العامة من مداهمة مخزن سري بعين عتيق يستغل في إنتاج الاكياس البلاستيكية المحظورة الصنع.
وذكر بلاغ صادر عن الجمارك، أن التدخل يأتي "في إطار المهام المنوطة بها (الفرقة الوطنية للجمارك) لتعزيز جهود كافة المتدخلين في محاربة الأكياس البلاستيكية لما تنطوي عليه من مخاطر تهدد البيئة وصحة الإنسان والماشية والتربة."
وحسب البلاغ، فقد مكنت العملية من حجز 4 آلات كانت مخصصة لإنتاج وتقطيع البلاستيك، كما بلغت الكمية المحجوزة من البضاعة المحظورة ما مجموعه 1.200 كيلوغراما كانت موجهة للاستهلاك الداخلي.
يذكر أن إنتاج الأكياس البلاستيكية محظور بموجب القانون رقم 77.15، الصادر يوم 7 ديسمبر 2015 بالجريدة الرسمية (عدد 6458 – 21 أبريل 2016) الذي يمنع تصنيع الأكياس من مادة البلاستيك واستيرادها وتصديرها وتسويقها واستعمالها.
