أكد عامل اٍقليم الحوز، رشيد بنشيخي، أن مشروع تبخير مادة المرجان بعد تجميعها في صهاريج ضخمة، له أهمية كبيرة من أجل الحفاظ على البيئة، وحماية الفرشة المائية الباطنية من التلوث.
واضاف بنشيخي خلال أشغال الدورة العادية للمجلس الاقليمي المنعقدة صباح اليوم الاثنين بمقر عمالة الحوز، بمدينة تحناوت، أن هذا المشروع الذي سينجز بعلاف مالي قدر بحوالي 3 ملايين درهم، تحت اشراف وكالة الحوض المائي، من شأنه أن يساهم في الحد من تلوث المحيط البيئي بسبب مخلفات معاصر الزيتون، التي تحوي على مواد سامة تكون سببا أساسيا في كثير من الأحيان، في تلويث المياه الجوفية، والقضاء على الاشجار المثمرة.
