وأضافت سامسونغ أنها قررت أن تستفيد من وقت إضافي حتى تعيد النظر في "تجربة المستهلك"، من كافة النوحي. ولهذا السبب، قررنا، وللأسف، أن نلغي طلباتكم المسبقة".
وأشارت إلى أن اتخاذ هذا القرار لم يكن أمرا سهلا بالمرة، لكنه كان أفضل الخطوات التي يمكن القيام بها في الشركة.
وقررت الشركة أن تمنح تعويضا قدره 250 دولارا لكل شخص قام بالطلب المسبق للجهاز، ويمكن الاستفادة من هذه المكافأة على شكل رصيد في "المتجر" الخاص بسامسونغ.
وخصصت سامسونغ هذا التعويض الذي وصف بـ"السخي"، "تقديرا" لصبر المستخدمين الذين انتظروا طيلة أشهر حتى يحصلوا على الجهاز القابل للطي.
