نشرت المجلة البريطانية "دايلي ميرور" تقريرا أنجزه الموقع المتخصص "سيك هوليداي" وشركة "يورك تيست"، حول المدن الأكثر تسجيلا لحالات التسممات الغذائية عبر العالم، والذي احتلت فيه مدينة مراكش احدى المراتب العشرة الأولى.
وحلت مدينة مراكش في الصف السابع بتسجيلها ل83 حالة تسمم غذائي خلال الفترة ما بين سنتي 2017 و2018، في حين تصدرت مدينة الغردقة المصرية هذا التصنيف ب380 حالة تسمم في نفس الفترة.
