أعلنت الجامعة الملكية المغربية لكرة القدم، اليوم الخميس، تعيين الفرنسي-البوسني وحيد خليلهودزيتش مدربا لمنتخبه الأول خلفا للفرنسي هيرفيه رونار.
وقال رئيس الجامعة فوزي لقجع في ندوة صحافية إلى جانب المدرب الجديد « يملك السيد خليلهودزيتش معرفة بالكرة الإفريقية بعد تدريبه منتخبي الجزائر وكوت ديفوار ».
وكان خليلهودزيتش توصل مطلع الشهر الجاري إلى اتفاق مع فالديمار كيتا، مالك نادي نانت صاحب المركز الثاني عشر في الدوري الفرنسي الموسم الماضي، لترك منصبه بعد موسم واحد فقط على رأس إدارته التقنية، وذلك تمهيدا لاستلام الإشراف على المنتخب المغربي.
وقال خليلهودزيتش إن هدفه الأول مع المنتخب المغربي يتمثل في التأهل لنهائيات كأس العالم (قطر 2022)، مشيرا إلى أن « هذه هي المرة الرابعة التي أحاول فيها قيادة منتخب إلى كأس العالم (…) بالنسبة لي هذا هدفي الأول ».
وتابع « قيادة منتخب وطني تحد وشرف ومسؤولية كبيرة »، معتبرا أن عودته إلى المغرب هي أيضا « عودة إلى الجذور لكونه لم ينس العام الذي قضاه مع الرجاء البيضاوي حيث حقق الانتصارات ».
وسبق لخليلهودزيتش التدريب في المغرب عندما قاد الرجاء البيضاوي (1997-1998) إلى لقب مسابقة دوري أبطال إفريقيا عام 1997، ويملك خبرة تدريبية في شمال القارة كونه أشرف على تدريب المنتخب الجزائري من 2011 إلى 2014 وقاده إلى إنجاز تاريخي ببلوغ ثمن نهائي كأس العالم للمرة الأولى في تاريخه، وذلك في البرازيل 2014 قبل أن يخرج بصعوبة وبعد التمديد على يد ألمانيا التي توجت باللقب لاحقا.
كما أشرف على منتخبي كوت ديفوار (2008-2010) واليابان (2015-2018)، بالإضافة إلى أندية ليل ورين وباريس سان جرمان الفرنسية، الاتحاد السعودي، دينامو زغرب الكرواتي وطرابزون سبور التركي.
بدوره، كان رونار قد طوى في 21 يوليوز الماضي فصلا « طويلا وجميلا » مع منتخب المغرب امتد لأكثر من ثلاثة أعوام، مؤكدا أنه اتخذ قراره قبل المشاركة المخيبة للمنتخب في كأس الأمم الإفريقية، حيث خرج من الدور ثمن النهائي.
وأقصي المنتخب المغربي بشكل مفاجئ من البطولة التي كان من أبرز المرشحين لنيل لقبها، لاسيما بعد إنهائه دور المجموعات بالعلامة الكاملة والشباك النظيفة في صدارة مجموعته. لكن أسود الأطلس خسروا في الدور ثمن النهائي أمام منتخب بنين المتواضع بركلات الترجيح 4-1، بعد التعادل 1-1 في الوقتين الأصلي والإضافي.
وأعرب المدرب البالغ 50 عاما والذي يعد من الأبرز في القارة السمراء، وعرف بقميصه الأبيض عن « فخره بالنجاح » الذي حققه مع منتخب المغرب، ومساهمته في تقدمه من المركز 81 في تصنيف الاتحاد الدولي (فيفا) عام 2016، إلى المركز 45 حاليا.
وقاد رونار الذي انتقل لتدريب المنتخب السعودي المنتخب المغربي إلى بلوغ نهائيات أمم إفريقيا مرتين (2017 حين خرج من الدور ربع النهائي على يد مصر، و2019 حين خرج من ثمن النهائي من البطولة التي كانت تقام للمرة الأولى بمشاركة 24 منتخبا)، كما أعاده إلى نهائيات كأس العالم للمرة الأولى بعد غياب 20 عاما، وذلك من خلال المشاركة في مونديال روسيا 2018.
