وحسب ذات المصدر، فقد قام ناصر بوريطة بعد نهاية اللقاء مرفوقا برئيس الجامعة الملكية المغربية لكرة القدم فوزي لقجع، بزيارة اللاعبين بمستودع الملابس، حيث وجها التحية لهم، وطلبا منهم الإستمرار على نفس النهج لتحقيق مراد الشعب المغربي بالفوز بكأس إفريقيا للمرة الثانية في تاريخ المملكة.
