وقالت مصادرنا، على أن المعني بالأمر، والذي ظل لساعات وهو معلق فوق ذاك اللاقط، يبلغ من العمر حوالي 47 سنة، وهو متزوج واب لطفلين، وينحدر من جماعة الدزوز، كما أنه يعاني من مرض نفسي زاد حدة مع مشاكل تتعلق بالإرث.
هذا، وأضافت مصادرنا، على أن السلطات والمصالح الأمنية تمكنت من إقناع ذاك الشخص من العدول عن فكرة الانتحار، حيث نزل من أعلى اللاقط، ليتم أخذه مباشرة الى مقر مفوضية الأمن بالعطاوية، وذلك للتحقيق معه في سبب إقدامه على محاولة الانتحار.
