ويبقى السؤال الذي يطرح نفسه بحدة، حسب نفس المصادر، هل سيسجن الجنرالات الشعب بأكمله، لإنهاء هذه الأزمة واستمرار هذا النظام، بمقوماته وآليات تدبيره؟ وهل ستتحول الجزائر إلى بؤرة توتر جديدة في شمال إفريقيا؟
يذكر أن قاضي التحقيق لدى المحكمة العليا بالجزائر، أمر بإيداع رئيس الوزراء السابق أحمد أويحيى الحبس المؤقت بعد التحقيق معه بتهم فساد، في وقت تواصل فيه النيابة التحقيق مع عدة شخصيات بقضايا فساد أيضا.
