سنوات تفصلنا عن سيطرة الأموات على فيسبوك


قالت دراسة حديثة إن تعداد مستخدمي موقع التواصل الاجتماعي "فيسبوك" الأموات سيفوق عدد المستخدمين الأحياء النشطين في غضون 50 عام.

وبحسب الدراسة التي أجراها معهد الإنترنت في جامعة أكسفورد البريطانية، فإنه بتحليل بيانات "فيسبوك" للعام 2018، سيموت على الأقل 1.4 مليار مستخدم للموقع قبل حلول العام 2100، ليتفوق تعداد "الحسابات التذكارية" على الحسابات النشطة في العام 2070.

ومع النمو الكبير الذي يشهده "فيسبوك"، يرى باحثو الجامعة البريطانية أن تعداد المستخدمين المتوفين قد يصل إلى 4.9 مليار بحلول سنة 2100، وفق ما نقل موقع "زد دي نت".

وتوصلت الدراسة لنتائجها بناء على افتراضين، الأول أنه لم ينضم مستخدمون جدد من عام 2018 لفيسبوك، وهو ما سيرفع من تعداد المستخدمين المتوفين في آسيا ليشكلوا ما يقارب 44 في المئة بحلول نهاية القرن الجاري.

أما السيناريو الثاني فيفترض نمو "فيسبوك" بمعدل 13 في المئة سنويا حتى يتشبع السوق، وعندها ستهيمن أفريقيا على المستخدمين الراحلين.

واستندت الدراسة إلى بيانات صادرة عن الأمم المتحدة تتعلق بمعدلات الوفيات والولادات في بلدان مختلفة حول العالم، بما فيها الوفيات المتوقعة بين 2000 و2100.
