قام شاب من أسفي زوال يومه الأربعاء 03 ابريل 2019، بسكب مادة قابلة للاشتعال على جسده، واضرام النار فيه، كخطوة احتجاجية على ما أسماه ب"الحكرة" التي كان يردد انه شعر بها، لتعرضه الى السرقة. 
وحسب مصادرنا، فالمذكور، كان يردد انه تقدم بفكرة مشروع الى مؤسسة معينة بمدينة بوجدور، من أجل الاستفادة من دعمها، إلا أنه تفاجأ بسرقة فكرته من طرف شخص آخر، بل واستفادة الأخير من الدعم الذي كان ينتظره الأول، مما جعل المذكور يحتج باضرام النار في جسده. 
وأكدت مصادرنا، على أن المعني بالأمر ينحدر من مدينة أسفي، وذهب الى مدينة بوجدور من أجل العمل، الى أن فكر من تطوير امكانياته بتبني مشروع خاص به، الا انه تعرض للسرقة.
هذا، وتدخل مجموعة من الشبان لانقاذ المعني بالأمر من النيران التي تسبب له في حروق خطيرة على مستوى انحاء متفرقة من جسده، حيث تم نقله على اثرها الى المستعجلات من أجل تلقي الاسعافات الضرورية.
