يبدو جهاز Litho للوهلة الأولى أداة غريبة كالتي تستخدم في أفلام الخيال العلمي، لكنه في الواقع جهاز تحكم ذكي، يمكن مستخدميه من القيام بالعديد من المهام والتحكم بالأجهزة الذكية عن بعد.
ويمكّن جهاز "Litho" الذي يُرتدى في الإصبعين الوسطى والسبابة، مستخدميه من تشغيل وإغلاق الكثير من الأجهزة الذكية والهواتف عن بعد دون لمسها، من خلال تحريك الأصابع في الهواء.
كما يمكنهم من إطفاء الإضاءة أو إغلاق الستائر والكهربائيات، فضلا عن إضافة مزيد من المتعة للألعاب، ووضع مخططات تصورية للمواقع.
ويدمج الجهاز بين قدرات التحكم في الحركة، والردود التفاعلية باللمس، بفضل لوحة متمركزة في الجزء السفلي منه، والتي يمكن استعمالها بأسلوب التمرير والسحب والإشارة.
وطبقا لرئيس قسم التصميم الذي أشرف على الاختراع، نات مارتن، فإن أداة التحكم متوافقة مع منصة شرطة "أبل" لتقنية الواقع المعزز والتي تعرف باسم ARKit، وفق ما ذكر موقع "فيرج" التقني.
ويأمل مطورو الاختراع، وهم ثلاثة بريطانيين، بطرحه في الأسواق مع نهاية العام الجاري بسعر يقل عن 100 دولار.
