تنظم جامعة القاضي عياض حدثا خاصا، بشراكة مع برنامج الأمم المتحدة للبيئة، يومي 12و 13 فبراير 2019 بالمدرج 10 بكلية العلوم – السملالية، تحت عنوان: "الجامعة، منصة للحلول المبتكرة لرفع تحديات التنمية المستدامة في إفريقيا".
الهدف من هذا الحدث هو فتح حوار متعدد الفاعلين ونقاش بناء بين الفاعلين في مختلف القطاعات (باحثين و سياسيين وممثلي القطاع العام والقطاع الخاص والمجتمع المدني…) والخروج بتوصيات من شأنها تمكين الجامعات من أداء الدور المنوط بها في إيجاد الحلول المبتكرة والمستدامة لإشكالية التنمية المستدامة في إفريقيا ،وتصبح منصة حقيقية للتعاون، و عنصرا فعالا في إحداث التحولات الجدرية لأجل تحقيق التنمية المستدامة على الصعيدين الوطني والإفريقي.
وهو أيضا مناسبة من أجل اعطاء الانطلاقة للمركز الافريقي للحلول المبتكرة والمستدامة، الذي أنشأته جامعة القاضي عياض حديثا، سعيا منها الى تكوين وتطوير الكفاءات ونقل وتبادل المعرفة، وتعزيز الحلول المبتكرة والممارسات الخلاقة من أجل رفع تحديات التنمية المستدامة في المغرب وإفريقيا.
