هواوي تتحدى أميركا.. وتهدد بالانسحاب من عدة دول
هددت شركة الاتصالات الصينية العملاقة، "هواوي"، بأنها يمكن أن تنسحب من شراكات في بعض الدول في حال عرقلت عملها، متحدية واشنطن أن تقدم دليلا على تورط الشركة في التجسس.
ودعا رئيس الشركة، ليانغ هوا، الحكومات الغربية إلى القيام بزيارة لمصانع الشركة لتبديد الشكوك بشأن تقنية يُشتبه بأن تكون مستخدمة لأغراض تجسس، وفق "فرانس برس".
وقال "نحن لا نشكل تهديدا لمستقبل المجتمع الرقمي"، مشيرا إلى أن السلطات الأميركية لم تكشف حتى الآن أدنى دليل على استخدام هذه التقنية من جانب الشركة للتجسس.
وصرّح خلال لقاء مع الصحافة على هامش منتدى دافوس الاقتصادي أنه في حال كان وصول "هواوي" إلى بعض الأسواق معرقلا، والزبائن بدأوا بالتردد، "فسنحوّل شراكاتنا التقنية إلى دول حيث يكون مرحبا بنا وحيث يمكننا التعاون".
ولم يحدد عن أي شراكات كان يتحدث عمليا، وعلّقت جامعة أوكسفورد أخيرا، أي تمويل من جانب عملاق الاتصالات الصيني.
وأعرب ليانغ عن "ثقته" بالقضاء الكندي بعد توقيف المديرة المالية في الشركة مينغ وانتشو وهي ابنة مؤسس "هواوي" والمهندس السابق في الجيش الصيني رين تشينغفاي، بناء على طلب واشنطن.
وكانت الولايات المتحدة أكدت، الثلاثاء، أنها ستطلب تسلّم مينغ، مع اقتراب المهلة النهائية لذلك في 30 يناير.
واستبعد ليانغ أي صلة بين "هواوي" وتوقيف مواطنين كنديين اثنين في الصين في وقت لاحق، في خطوة اعتُبرت بمثابة رد من بكين على أوتاوا، مضيفا "نحن نحترم بشكل كامل" القوانين.
