تحذير: بكتيريا مضرة في دش الاستحمام
خلصت دراسة حديثة أُجريت في الولايات المتحدة و13 دولة أوروبية، إلى أن هناك بكتيريا معينة تتركز أكثر من غيرها في "دُش" الاستحمام، مشيرة إلى أنها تتسبب في كثير من الأمراض المعدية.
وحسبما أوردت صحيفة "ديلي ميل" البريطانية، فإن البكتيريا الأكثر انتشارا هي "الجرثومة الفطرية أو المتفطرة"، المسببة لعدة أمراض معدية منها، السل.
وسعت الدراسة إلى معرفة البكتيريا الموجودة في دش الاستحمام التي تصل إلى رؤوس البشر، ولذلك أخذت عينات من 656 دش منزلي في الولايات وأوروبا.
وعمل الباحثون على تحليل عينات الحمض النووي الموجودة في تلك العينات، مشيرا إلى أن البكتيريا المتفطرة موجودة في المدن الأميركية بصورة أكبر من نظيراتها الأوروبية.
وقالوا إن هذه البكتيريا الضارة في صنابير المياه التي توفرها البلديات أكثر من تلك القادمة من الآبار، وهي شائعة في المناطق الجغرافية ذات الحرارة العالية، حيث تنتشر أنواع معينة من أمراض الرئة التي تسببها هذه البكتيريا.
وقال أحد الباحثين في الدراسة إن هناك عالَما مزدهرا للبكتيريا في "دش الاستحمام وتنزل منه على رأسك".
وأضاف أن معظم هذه البكتيريات غير ضارة، لكن عددا قليلا منها يلحق أضرارا، مشيرا إلى أن هذا النوع من الأبحاث يساعد في معالجة كيفية التعامل مع الأنظمة التي تزود المنازل بالمياه.
وتم نشر الدراسة في دورية "أم بيو" الأميركية، التي تنشرها الجمعية الأميركية للميكرو بيولوجيا، والأكاديمية الأميركية لعلم الأحياء الدقيقة.
