عواصف تصرع 29 شخصا على الأقل باٍطاليا

ذكر مسؤولون اليوم الأحد أن ما لا يقل عن 12 شخصا لقوا حتفهم بسبب سوء الأحوال الجوية في جزيرة صقلية الإيطالية ليرتفع بذلك عدد قتلى العواصف التي تجتاح إيطاليا إلى 29 شخصا.
وقال متحدث باسم شرطة عاصمة صقلية اليوم إن أمطارا غزيرة تسببت في انهيارات أرضية وفيضانات مما أدى إلى وفاة عشرة أشخاص في المنطقة المحيطة بمدينة باليرمو.
وأضاف "ما زال بعض الأشخاص في عداد المفقودين".
وقال مسؤول آخر إن شخصين قتلا قرب بلدة أجريجنتو في صقلية بسبب انهيار أرضي أصاب سيارة كانوا فيها.
وقالت وكالة الحماية المدنية الإيطالية إن عدد القتلى بسبب موجة الطقس السيء بلغ 17 شخصا دون حساب قتلى صقلية.
