أعلنت جمعية وكالات الأسفار ومنظمي الرحلات البريطانيين (ABTA) عن إطلاق دليل عمل حول الحفاظ على المناخ، خلال مؤتمر السفر المزمع عقده بمراكش الشهر المقبل، بهدف مساعدة قادة الصناعة على إزالة الكربون عن السفر والسياحة.
وأوضحت الجمعية أن تغير المناخ يشكل تهديدا عالميا، لذلك هناك حاجة إلى « إجراءات عاجلة » من جميع القطاعات والشركات لمعالجة انبعاثات الكربون.
وكشفت الجمعية أنها قامت بتطوير دليل العمل المناخي » Climate Action Guidebook » بالتعاون مع شركة Deloitte للاستشارات المالية، الشريك الأول للسفر والطيران.
