ترامب: وقعت إعلانا يعترف بالسيادة المغربية على الصحراء الغربية
أعلن الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب، مساء يوم الخميس، أنه وقع إعلانا يعترف بالسيادة المغربية على الصحراء الغربية.
وقال ترامب في تغريدة على « تويتر »: « لقد وقعت اليوم إعلانا يعترف بالسيادة المغربية على الصحراء الغربية ».
وأضاف « أن اقتراح المغرب الجاد والواقعي والجاد للحكم الذاتي هو الأساس الوحيد لحل عادل ودائم لتحقيق السلام الدائم والازدهار! ».
وأفاد البيت الأبيض بأنه يعتقد بأن إقامة دولة مستقلة في الصحراء الغربية ليس خيارا واقعيا لحل الصراع.
وحث البيت الأبيض أطراف الصراع في الصحراء الغربية على الدخول في مناقشات دون إبطاء على أساس خطة المغرب للحكم الذاتي كإطار للتفاوض.
وترعى الأمم المتحدة منذ عقود جهودا لإيجاد حل سياسي متوافق عليه ينهي هذا النزاع، حيث مدد مجلس الأمن في قرار جديد نهاية أكتوبر مهمة بعثة الأمم المتحدة للاستفتاء في الصحراء الغربية « مينورسو » لعام آخر.
وفي 13 نوفمبر، أعلنت السلطات المغربية أنها قررت التحرك عسكريا لمواجهة ما قالت إنه « استفزازات ميليشيا البوليساريو الخطيرة »، وهو ما اعتبرته « البوليسايو » خرقا « ينسف نهائيا اتفاق وقف النار » الموقع في العام 1991.
