لكن مصير الهاتف المحمول في أوروبا سيتوقف على ما إذا كان بمقدوره التغلب على حظر أميركي لمنح العملاء نظام التشغيل الذي يتوقعونه من غوغل.
وستعرض شركة الاتصالات الصينية العملاقة هواتفها من طراز "ميت 30" في ميونيخ بألمانيا، في أول كشف لها عن هاتف جديد كليا منذ استهدف الرئيس الأميركي دونالد ترامب الشركة بحظر على التصدير في مايو.
وقال باولو بيسكاتور محلل الاتصالات والإعلام "التدشين سيحظى بأكبر قدر من المتابعة على الإطلاق".
وأضاف "على الرغم من جميع المخاوف التي تحيط بهواوي، والتحديات التي تواجهها، تظل الشركة مقدامة ومستعدة لمواصلة المضي قدما".
وثاني أكبر شركة لصناعة الهواتف الذكية في العالم رهينة تداعيات النزاع التجاري بين واشنطن وبكين، الذي يقول المحللون إنه يتحول تدريجيا إلى حرب تكنولوجية باردة.
وتتوقع الشركة أن يكلفها الحظر الأميركي 10 مليارات دولار.
ويبرز التدشين في أوروبا مدى أهمية المستهلكين بالمنطقة، البالغ عددهم 500 مليون لهواوي.
وخسرت هواوي 5 نقاط مئوية من حصتها السوقية في أوروبا عقب الحظر الأميركي، على الرغم من تهافت المشترين على شراء الهواتف التي تحمل علامتها التجارية داخل الصين.
