وهذه النتيجة هي أول ارتداد ملموس لقرار الولايات المتحدة إدراج "هواوي" في قائمة الشركات الأجنبية التي يحظر على المجموعات الأميركية تبادل التكنولوجيا معها.
وأفاد ناطق باسم "غوغل" بأنه يتعذر إدراج نظام تشغيل "أندرويد" من تطوير "غوغل" والتطبيقات المرفقة به في هذا الهاتف الذكي، بسبب الحظر المفروض على المجموعة الصينية، التي منحت عدة فترات سماح مدة كل منها 90 يوما، كان آخرها في التاسع عشر من أغسطس.
وأكدت المجموعة الصينية من جهتها في تصريحات لوكالة فرانس برس "سنستمر في استخدام أندرويد والبرمجيات ذات الصلة إذا ما سمحت لنا الحكومة الأميركية بذلك. وفي حال لم تخولنا القيام بالأمر، فسنواصل تطوير نظام التشغيل الخاص بنا".
وبحسب مصادر متطابقة، سيبقى من الممكن النفاذ إلى متجر التطبيقات "بلاي ستور" التابع لـ "غوغل" من خلال هذه الهواتف الجديدة، ما يتيح لأصحابها أن يحملوا بأنفسهم برمجيات "غوغل" المنشودة.
وهواتف "مايت 30" ونسختها الأكثر تطورا "مايت 30 برو" أجهزة رفيعة المستوى من "هواوي"، الهدف منها منافسة مجموعة "غالاكسي نوت" من "سامسونغ". ومن المرتقب تقديمها رسميا في الثامن عشر من سبتمبر في ميونيخ، لكن لم يحدد بعد أي موعد لطرحها في الأسواق.
وفي ظل الحظر الأميركي، قدمت "هواوي" في مطلع الشهر نظامها الخاص للتشغيل "هارموني أو إس" الذي قد يحل محل "أندرويد" على أجهزتها.
وكشفت دراسة نشرها مركز الأبحاث "كاناليس" في سنغافورة أن مبيعات "هواوي"، الثانية عالميا في مجال الهواتف الذكية تراجعت بنسبة 16 في المئة في أوروبا، خلال الربع الثاني من العام، نتيجة الإجراءات الأميركية.
